Description:
Dragon wood is a detailed and distinctive piece of driftwood that can bring a lot of character to any aquascape. Much like Dragon Stone, Dragon Wood is a naturally occurring hardscape filled with holes and tunnels, making it ideal for fish that prefer hiding spots, such as plecos. The wood might have slight variations in terms of colors, including dark brown, light brown, and brownish grey, and these colors may shift over time due to exposure to water.
Driftwood releases tannins over time, which can give the water a slight yellow or brown tint. Dragon Wood is an excellent option for those who like the appearance of Dragon Stone but prefer to include driftwood in their tank to help lower the water's pH and attached moss and plants
Boiling the wood and using activated carbon in the filter can significantly reduce the amount of tannins released into the water.

Average Sizing
- Small - Length: 10-15cm
- Medium - Length: 15-25cm
- Large - Length: 25-30cm
- Extra Large - Length: 30-45cm
Notes:
- Driftwood can leech tannins which can cause a slight yellow or brown tint to your water.
- Driftwood can change water chemistry such as pH and hardness.
- Aquarium driftwood is buoyant and will float. Please ensure your piece is fully waterlogged before use in a planted tank or it will float upon filling the aquarium.
- A large stone or heavy decor may be placed on top to ensure a non-water-logged piece of wood stays submerged.
- We recommend rinsing wood thoroughly before adding it to an established aquarium. If you prefer, you may also boil the wood for at least 1-2 hours to help release tannins which will otherwise discolor aquarium water.
