With a length of 32cm, height of 15cm and 17cm in width, this driftwood piece is guaranteed safe for fish and shrimps and will sink within 2-5 days of being soaked in water.   This is a unique piece and will add a special character to your biotope. It is especially suitable for those who keep shrimps or small community fish tanks and want to see their tank thrive. The dense branches provide a natural hiding place for shrimp.  It will not stain the water column in the aquarium, unlike dark-coloured driftwood. 

Usage :

Soak it in clean fresh water for at least 2-5 days until it sinks before introducing into your tank.   Another quick way to have the piece sink is to boil it in hot water for an hour or so, though boiling is unnecessary for this driftwood.

We always suggest that you boil the driftwood you are about to add to your aquarium to sterilise them. 

As this type of driftwood is small, it may have some sharper mini tips - we recommend that you check and cut or trim if needed before use.  

The black tips are a natural feature and add a stunning "look" to this remarkable wood.
